Eldred got on base at least three times in three straight games for the Golden Eagles during their trip to Virginia this past weekend. In the team's first game he drew three walks and stole one base. The next outing he batted 3-for-5 in a win over Franklin & Marshall. In the game he hit two singles, one triple, had one RBI, scored a run, and stole another base. In the final game of the set he was 3-for-3 at the plate in a win over #15 Marietta. He connected for two doubles, a single, had one RBI, scored a run, and drew a walk. Five games into the season Eldred is hitting .429 with a .550 on base percentage.
