Reynolds, Kim named SUNYAC Field Hockey Athletes of the Week

CORTLAND, N.Y. - The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has named Oswego's Katie Reynolds as the Offensive Athlete of the Week, and Geneseo's Julia Kim as the Defensive Athlete of the Week.

Reynolds, the Oswego senior, totaled six goals and 12 points in two games during the week. In the first game against Nazareth, she scored two goals on two shots but Oswego lost 6-3. Reynolds was the main reason Oswego won the second game against Brockport, scoring all four goals for the Lakers. She is curerntly fourth in the nation in points per game (3.67) and goals per game (1.67).

Kim anchored Geneseo's defense that allowed only two goals in two games this week.  The team did not allow a penalty corner in the 5-2 win at Keuka or in the 10-0 win at Morrisville. The Knights junior also contributed one goal in each game.
