What time do you typically wake up?

I typically wake up around 8am to get my day going. I like to workout before anything else because it provides me with a productive start to my day.

What is one thing that you do (nearly) every day that keeps you on track for competition?

Every day I work on myself and my habits to ensure success. I train in many different ways so I am always challenging myself and not staying in my comfort zone.

What motivates you (to be the best in your sport)?

I would like to say that I motivate myself because I don't feel that comparison is helpful. If you are on a team, you should only be working to become a better you. My advice is to work on what you can personally improve on, because everyone's strengths and weaknesses are different. I work on becoming the best I can be and improving each year for myself and to benefit the team.

How do you stay connected with your teammates?

I stay connected with my teammates by reaching out to them if I haven't seen them in a while. I like to keep in touch with the underclassmen as much as possible through team chats to let them know they can reach out to me if they have questions or need to chat.

What is your top lunch choice?

My top lunch choice is breakfast for lunch! I would say on an average day I make two eggs with spinach and sweet potatoes!

What time is practice?

Typically we practice 3-5 or 5-7! We work it out depending on field availability and student-athlete class schedules so we can ensure success in school and athletics by having the whole team together as much as possible, while also being able to attend classes in a timely manner.

What class have you been looking forward to this semester?

I am looking forward to expanding my knowledge in a different way! I am an art major and I have completed all of the requirements for it. I am now taking classes to get certified as a coach for my athletic coaching minor, due to my passion for health and fitness!

What helps you stay focused each day?

I stay focused each day by keeping a routine for myself! I like to be productive in the morning and keep a to do list at hand to take note of things that need to be done!

Favorite late night snack?

My favorite late night snack is probably dark chocolate with rice cakes and almond butter!

How many hours a night do you typically sleep?

I typically try and get 8 hours of sleep a night to make sure I am fully rested and recovered for the following day!
