Senior Spotlight: Carly Croteau

CORTLAND, N.Y. - The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Field Hockey Senior Spotlight is on New Paltz's Carly Croteau this week.

The early childhood & childhood education (Spanish minor) from Bayport, N.Y. is a two-time All-SUNYAC selection, earning first team honors last fall. Croteau was also named to the NFHCA All-Region second team after captaining the Hawks to their second-straight SUNYAC Championship game in 2019, following a SUNYAC title-winning season in 2018. Croteau hasn't missed a game the last three seasons, making 51 starts in 57 games played. She currently sits tied for eighth in goals, tied for 11th in assists and eighth in career points in Hawks program history. Croteau earned a spot on the SUNYAC Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll each of her first three seasons and was the SUNYAC Scholar Athlete of the Year recipient last season, as well as being enshrined into the Chi Alpha Sigma National Honor Society this past spring.
