CORTLAND, N.Y.- The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has selected the winner for Men's Basketball Athlete of the Week. This week's winner was chosen out of nominations from across the conference.
This week's winner is the junior from Cortland Zach Lydon (Elizaville, N.Y.). Lydon scored 20 points and grabbed a career-high 12 rebounds in Cortland's 90-66 victory at SUNY Old Westbury. He made 9-of-12 shots shooting 75 percent from the field, including 2-of-3 attempts from 3-point range, in just 21 minutes of action.
