Balducci selected for first men's basketball athlete of the week of 2018

CORTLAND, N.Y. - The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has made its selection for men's basketball athlete of the week. The winner was chosen out of several top nominations from around the conference.

New Paltz's Dylan Balducci powered the Hawks to a 1-1 record and earned Athlete of the Week honors. The senior guard put up 13 points and two assists in a tough loss to Lycoming. In the Hawks' next game against King's (PA), Balducci was able to guide his team to a win. The Massapequa Park native scored 24 points (6-9 on three-pointers) and added 6 assists and 3 rebounds in a 100-89 victory.  

Balducci and the Hawks begin their SUNYAC play this Friday (1/5) and Saturday (1/6), as they host Oswego and Cortland, respectively.
