Brown Honored for Second Week in a Row as PrestoSports Men's Basketball Athlete of the Week

CORTLAND, N.Y. - The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has named Potsdam's Isaiah Brown (Queens, N.Y.) the PrestoSports Men's Basketball Athlete of the Week.

Brown averaged 29.5 points in a pair of home sweep of SUNYAC powers Oswego and Cortland. He shot 47% from the floor going 6 for 12 from 3-point range and added a 17 for 21 performance from the free throw line. Brown grabbed 22 rebounds in the two games. On Friday night vs. 11-3 Oswego he scored 24 points, and on Saturday afternoon vs. 10-5 Cortland he scored a career high 35 points as the Bears swept two games to remain atop the SUNYAC standings with an 8-1 conference record at the halfway point of the season. Brown added 4 assists, 5 steals and 2 blocked shots in the two games. Since joining the Potsdam team in January, Brown has scored 20 or more points in all 7 games he has played.
