CORTLAND, N.Y. - The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has named Potsdam's Isaiah Brown (Queens, N.Y.) the PrestoSports Men's Basketball Athlete of the Week for the third time this season.
Brown helped the Bears to a 3-0 week in SUNYAC play, averaging 23.0 ppg. and 7.0 rpg in victories over Plattsburgh, Buffalo State and Fredonia. On Tuesday, the sophomore scored a career-high 37 points on 48.3-percent shooting and grabbed nine rebounds in an 89-82 win at Plattsburgh. Brown scored 19 points and added six boards in a 73-67 home victory against the Bengals. He then chipped in 13 points and six rebounds in a 76-71 hime win over the Blue Devils to complete the perfect week.
