BROCKPORT, N.Y. - Brockport defeated Potsdam, 102-75, to take the 2020 State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) men's basketball title, Saturday in Brockport. This is the program's ninth overall conference crown and first since 2014. With the win the Golden Eagles earned an automatic berth into the 2020 NCAA tournament.
Elite 20
The SUNYAC Elite 20, is an award modeled after the NCAA ELITE 90 program, which recognizes the true essence of the student-athlete by honoring the individual who has reached the pinnacle of competition at the conference championship level in his or her sport, while also achieving the highest academic standard among his or her peers. The 2020 men's basketball honoree is Oswego's Liam Sanborn who holds a 3.81 GPA as a finance major.
