CORTLAND, N.Y. - The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has selected its Men's Lacrosse Athlete and Goalie of the Week. The winners were selected from nominations across the conference.
Bobby Emerson from Oswego is this week's Men's Lacrosse Athlete of the Week. Emerson notched four goals in Oswego's win over Utica on Wednesday night, and followed up by scoring three goals and dishing out an assist when the team played Brockport on Saturday. The junior collected seven ground balls in the two games and forced two turnovers from his opponents as well.
Dallas Meyers from Brockport is this week's Men's Lacrosse Goalie of the Week. Meyers played the full 60 minutes in the cage in the 8-6 win over Oswego State. He finished with 13 saves, which included a pair of last second saves to hold onto the victory, and a 68.4 save percentage.
