POTSDAM, N.Y. - Recently Potsdam men's lacrosse team spent several hours cleaning up and spreading new mulch around trees along Market Street. The Bears teamed with Potsdam Chamber of Commerce member Rose Rivezzi to give back to Potsdam.
"It was a great opportunity for our student-athletes to thank the community for welcoming all of SUNY Potsdam back to town," said 27th year head coach and athletics administrator Rick Berkman. "And to show the people of Potsdam that we support them and are here to help when needed."
Rivezzi, Berkman and the team organized the project and the mulch was donated by Agway and Lowe's.
