Cortland's Keller and Kelly announced as SUNYAC Men's Soccer Athletes of the Week

CORTLAND, N.Y. - The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has selected Cortland's Jake Keller and Sean Kelly as Men's Soccer Athletes of the Week.

Keller led Cortland to a 3-0 week by totaling five goals, one assist, and 11 points. In the Red Dragon's 1-0 win over Hobart, Keller netted the game-winning goal in the 78th minute. In the second game against Oswego he scored two goals and had one assist, to lead Cortland to a 4-0 win. Keller stayed hot in the final game of the week against Alfred, scoring two goals and helping Cortland win 5-0.

Kelly, the Defensive Athlete of the Week, was just as important to Cortland as Jake Keller this week. The goalkeeper kept clean sheets in all three games to give him six clean shutouts for the season. Kelly made six saves in the 1-0 win against Hobart and followed that up with another six saves in the 4-0 win over Oswego. He finished the week with one save against Alfred in a 5-0 Red Dragons win. Kelly ended the week with 13 saves and a 1.000 save percentage.
