CORTLAND, N.Y. - The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) recognizes Oswego's Brian Terra in this week's Men's Soccer Senior Spotlight.
In 2019, as the goalkeeper for the Lakers men's soccer team, Terra recorded six shutouts, .819 save percentage, and 4.53 saves per game -- all ranked second in the conference. For his efforts, he was named to the All-Conference third team. The Bay Shore native was named SUNYAC Defensive Player of the Week three times and Oswego Male Athlete of the Week twice.
Terra led the men's soccer program to a 9-7-2 overall record and a 4-4-1 record in conference last season. Oswego qualified for their first SUNYAC Men's Soccer Championship since 2014, earning the fifth seed. Their season ended with a dramatic eight-round shootout setback in the conference quarterfinals
