CORTLAND, N.Y. - The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Men's Swimmer of the Week is Oswego's Alex Davie (Rome, Italy) and the Men's Diver of the Week is Geneseo's Corey Wirth (Lima, N.Y. / Honeoye Falls-Lima).
Davie was an important part of Oswego's 189-99 win over SUNYAC opponent Brockport over the weekend. He swam in two relays helping the team win the 200-yard medley relay (1:38.27) and the 200-yard freestyle relay (1:29.14). Davie also won two individual races, placing first in the 50-yard freestyle (21.74) and first in the 100-yard freestyle (48.63).
The Geneseo freshman diver, Wirth, was the top diver at the team's dual match against Nazareth. He placed first on the 1-meter board with a score of 266.80. He followed that up with a second place finish and a score of 266.15 on the 3-meter board.
