Snowden and Wilcox earn PrestoSports Weekly Awards

CORTLAND, N.Y. - The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has picked Oswego's Walker Snowden (Tallahassee, Fla.) as this week's PrestoSports Men's Swimmer of the Week while Geneseo's Ben Wilcox (Eden, N.Y.) has been named the PrestoSports Diver of the Week. 

Junior Snowden won five individual events and took part in three winning relays in two dual meet victories for Oswego this past week. In the team's dual meet win over Cortland, Snowden was part of the winning 200-yard medley relay (1:38.86), then won the 100-yard butterfly (53.97), 100-yard freestyle (48.91) and the 50-yard freestyle (21.77). Against Buffalo State, he individually won the 100-yard backstroke (55.03) and 100-yard butterfly (53.69), as well as taking part in both the winning 200-yard medley relay (1;38.92) and 200-yard freestyle relay (1:29.52).

Wilcox delivered a win in the three-meter dive, finishing with 284.72 to edge teammate Corey Wirth. In the one-meter, he finished second, a few points behind Wirth, scoring a 294.25 as Geneseo swept the diving events at Case Western Reserve.
