CORTLAND, N.Y. - Geneseo took home the 2021 State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) men's outdoor track and field championship with 229 points, Saturday at Cortland's Stadium Complex. This is their eighth SUNYAC men's outdoor track and field title overall. Brockport finished second while Cortland was third.

The SUNYAC awarded the Most Outstanding Performance and the Most Valuable Performer following the two-day championship. The Male Most Outstanding Performance, voted on by the coaches, was awarded to Devin Kipp from Brockport. With 20 points the Male Most Valuable Performer was awarded to Matthew Sayre from Geneseo.

The All-Conference first, second and third teams consist of the top three finishers in each event.

Elite 20

The SUNYAC Elite 20, is an award modeled after the NCAA ELITE 90 program, which recognizes the true essence of the student-athlete by honoring the individual who has reached the pinnacle of competition at the conference championship level in his or her sport, while also achieving the highest academic standard among his or her peers. This year there was a tie with a GPA of 3.95 the SUNYAC honored Cortland's Daniel Gross and Geneseo's Riley Grossman. Gross is majoring in adolescent education: social studies/geography and Grossman is a mathematics major.
