Tate selected as Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week

CORTLAND, N.Y. - The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) named Geneseo's Jack Tate its Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week. 

Tate finished first out of 233 runners to lead Geneseo to a second place finish at the Harry F. Anderson Invitational, Saturday, in Rochester. He covered the 8k course in a time of 25:25.6 to best the field by nearly 37 seconds. Geneseo finished one point shy of Division II Roberts Wesleyan while finishing ahead of Cortland, Fredonia, Brockport and Buffalo State in the 21-team competition.
