CORTLAND, N.Y. - The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has selected Geneseo's Sean McAneny as this week's Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week.
McAneny finished second out of 394 runners to lead Geneseo to second place at the Inter-Regional Border Battle, hosted by Rowan, on Saturday. He covered the 8k course in 25:02.7 to finish less than three seconds behind the overall winner. Geneseo was ranked No. 13 nationally entering the race and finished ahead of No. 2 RPI and No. 7 Carnegie Mellon along with four other nationally ranked squads in the 42-team field.
