CORTLAND, N.Y. - This week's State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Men's Cross Country Senior Spotlight is on Potsdam's Matthew Brown.
Brown competed for the Bears in all 19 of their meets since his freshman season. He is also a three-year member of Potsdam's track and field program. Last fall, Brown posted a personal best 6K time of 23:02 at the SUNY Poly Short Course Invite. He narrowly missed a career best 8K time at the SUNYAC Championships in New Paltz, finishing in 30:37.7. Brown, from Chestertown, N.Y. is majoring in English literature.
