CORTLAND, N.Y. - The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has selected the winner for Women's Basketball Athlete of the Week. This week's winner was chosen out of nominations from across the conference.

Cortland's Kerry McHugh led her team to a 3-0 week with averages of 23.2 points and 4 assists per game. The three wins came against conference opponents and propelled Cortland to a tie for the lead in conference wins. McHugh had her strongest effort against New Paltz, scoring 33 points and adding 9 assists in the victory.
