CORTLAND, N.Y. - The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has selected the winner for Women's Basketball Athlete of the Week. This week's winner was chosen out of nominations from across the conference.
This week's winner is the sophomore from Oswego Quincey Zimmerman (South Jefferson, N.Y.). Zimmerman had a near flawless offensive night in Oswego's 91-80 victory at Cazenovia College on Friday, scoring a career-high 21 points. The sophomore was a perfect 4-for-4 from inside the 3-point line and went 4-for-6 from beyond the arc. Her four made three's tied a career-best. Zimmerman also collected three rebounds and dished out two assists in 36 minutes of action.
