NEW PALTZ, N.Y. - New Paltz and Cortland will face off in the 2023 SUNYAC women's basketball championship for conference title and an automatic berth into the NCAA tournament. The Hawks will host the Red Dragons at the Hawks Center Saturday at 4:30 p.m. Full Bracket

Elite 20
The SUNYAC Elite 20, an award modeled after the NCAA ELITE 90 program, recognizes the true essence of the student-athlete by honoring the individual who has reached the pinnacle of competition at the conference championship level in his or her sport, while also achieving the highest academic standard among his or her peers. This year ffor women's basketball, there is a three-way tie with a 3.95 GPA. The conference recognized the three recipients Friday night. Geneseo's Hannah Stockman is a senior from Northport, N.Y. is an early childhood education major. Oneonta's Molly Coyne is a sophomore from Syracuse and is majoring in sport management. Oneonta's Amanda Zuntag is a sophomore from Staten Island is an early childhood/childhood education major (B-6).
