SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Cortland's Hannah Lorenzen has been named the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Women's Lacrosse Offensive Athlete of the Week while Brockport's Morgan Elmer has been named the Defensive Athlete of the Week for the fourth time this season.

Lorenzen helped Cortland win a pair of SUNYAC East games last week as the Red Dragons secured the top seed in their division for the upcoming conference playoffs, improving to 9-1 overall with their ninth consecutive win and 7-0 in the SUNYAC East. Lorenzen totaled 18 points on 12 goals and six assists and added 10 draw controls, four ground balls and two caused turnovers. In a 14-12 home win versus Oneonta on Wednesday, Lorenzen scored a career-high 10 points on a career-best seven goals and three assists and also finished with eight draws, four ground balls and two caused turnovers. She then became the 48th player in program history to surpass 100 career points in a 16-9 victory at New Paltz on Saturday, scoring eight points on five goals and three assists to raise her career numbers to 103 points on 78 goals and 25 assists.

Elmer started in the cage for Brockport in a 2-0 week that extended the team's win streak to nine games. In a 20-8 win over Oswego the junior stopped seven shots and only allowed three goals in just over 38 minutes of action. Then against the nationally ranked William Smith Herons, Elmer came up big with 16 saves that included three stops on free position shots in a 17-14 win. The Golden Eagles are now 9-2 overall and 7-1 in conference play.
