Geneseo’s own Tess McFadden is this week’s defensive player of the week. The native from Pleasantville, NY backstopped a 2-0 week as Geneseo improved to 6-0 this spring. She compiled a career-high 13 saves to go along with four ground balls in the Knights' 10-8 upset of No. 9 Ithaca on Saturday. She also made six saves in Tuesday's 15-9 victory over RIT.
