Cortland's Lexie Meager has been chosen as the SUNYAC offensive athlete of the week. The Syracuse native led the 16th-ranked Red Dragons to two neutral-site wins last week as the team improved to 4-1 on the season. She totaled 14 points on 12 goals and two assists, eight draw controls, four ground balls and three caused turnovers. In a 16-8 victory over 19th-ranked Catholic on Wednesday, Meager tallied a career-high eight points on a career-best seven goals and one assist, adding three ground balls and one draw and caused turnover. She then scored six points on five goals and one assist, secured seven draws and one ground ball and caused two turnovers in an 18-6 win versus previously undefeated Roger Williams on Saturday. For the season, Meager leads Cortland in scoring with 25 points on a team-best 22 goals and three assists.
