Cortland N.Y. - The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) would like to announce this week's Women's Soccer Offensive and Defensive Athletes of the Week. This week's Offensive Athlete of the Week is the senior from Geneseo Audrey Reid. The Defensive Athlete of the Week is the freshman from Potsdam Gabby Hobika.

Senior forward Audrey Reid from Hilton, N.Y. provided the offense for the Knights this weekend as ninth-ranked Geneseo earned two victories over conference opponents. Reid scored her first-career hat trick against Oneonta, converting a penalty kick, curling a corner into the net for a score, and drilling a 25-yard direct free kick into the back of the net for the game-winner in overtime. Against New Paltz, Reid added two more goals, including a second long free kick goal of the weekend, to lead the Knights to a 6-1 victory. Reid has scored 10 goals in 10 games played this season.

Freshman goalkeeper Gabby Hobika from New Hartford, N.Y. had an outstanding weekend for the Potsdam Bears. Hobika made 11 key saves in the Bears 2-1 victory at Cortland on Friday. It was just Potsdam's second win over Cortland ever. Hobika has a 4–1 record for Potsdam and a .833 save percentage.
