Cortland N.Y. -  The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has announced its offensive and defensive athletes of the week for women's soccer. This week's Defensive Athlete of the Week is the senior defender from Plattsburgh, Brooke Knight. For the second week in a row, this week's Offensive Athlete of the Week is the senior forward from Geneseo, Audrey Reid.

Knight the senior from Plattsburgh played every minute of all three matches this week for the Cardinals. In the three games, Plattsburgh allowed just one goal and helped the Cardinals achieved two shutouts with her at center back against Oneonta and New Paltz. Knight also added an assist in the Cardinals 5-0 win over New Paltz. The only goal that Plattsburgh allowed this week was against The Sage Colleges, but in that same game Knight helped the keeper by making multiple blocks to help Plattsburgh to a win.

For the second week in a row senior forward Audrey Reid was selected as the Offensive Athlete of the Week. Reid extended her multi-goal scoring streak to four straight, scoring two in both games this week. Reid scored two goals against Alfred, including another direct kick from 25 yards out. That big game was followed by two more goals against Brockport on Saturday. Reid has now scored 14 goals on the season, the most by a Knight since 2014. She has recorded at least one goal in each of her last six games.
