CORTLAND, N.Y. - This week's State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Women's Soccer Senior Spotlight is on Potsdam's Lexi Dean.
The community health major from Schenectady, N.Y. has helped guide Potsdam to its first three SUNYAC postseason berths ever and ranks third in program history in scoring with 29 goals and 16 assists totaling 74 points. She was named the SUNYAC Offensive Player of the Week four times and was honored on the Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll the past three years.
In 2019 Dean was named the SUNYAC Offensive Player of the Year. She was also named to the first team All-SUNYAC, USC All-East third team and led SUNYAC in scoring through regular season with 14 goals and eight assists (36 points)
In 2018 Dean was named to the second team All-SUNYAC and was fourth in the conference in scoring totaling 19 points on seven goals and five assists.
In 2017 she was named to the third team All-SUNYAC and was sixth in the league in scoring (eight goals, three assists, 19 points).
