CORTLAND, N.Y. - The State University of New York Athletic Conference's (SUNYAC) weekly Women's Soccer Senior Spotlight highlights Geneseo's Julia McDonald.
The early childhood education major hailing from Saratoga Springs, N.Y. posted a 15-4-1 mark in the net for Geneseo last season to help lead the Knights to their third-consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance. An All-SUNYAC first team selection, McDonald recorded 72 saves and posted a conference-best 0.76 goals against average. She led the league with eight shutouts, including six clean sheets against SUNYAC opponents. In the last three seasons she played in 25 games, tallied 77 saves and had a 0.80 goals against average.
