CORTLAND, N.Y. - The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) highlights New Paltz's Monika Morasse as this week's Women's Soccer Senior Sportlight.
Morasse was a team captain for the Hawks as a junior last year and was primed for a breakout season before suffering a season-ending knee injury four games into the season. Prior to last year, Morasse appeared in every game as a freshman and sophmore and started 31 of 35 games in which she appeared. Morasse has been on the SUNYAC Academic Commissioner's Honor Roll for each of her three seasons and last spring was enshrined in the Chi Alpha Sigma National Honor Society. She is a mathematics-actuarial science major.
