CORTLAND, N.Y.-  The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has made its selections for the top female swimmer and diver in the conference.  This week, Geneseo swept both awards after a strong performance in a meet with Division I Canisius.  

Samantha Reichman, originall from Cornwall-on-Hudson, had a very strong effort last Saturday that earned her Diver of the Week honors.  The sophomore diver registered a score of 248.95 in the 1-meter dive, good for a first place finish.  Reichman also picked up a second-place finish in the 3-meter diving competition with a score of 250.60.

Noelle Staso was selected as Swimmer of the Week. The freshman won two events for the Knights in their competition with Canisius.  She won the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:08.39 and took second place in the 100 free (54.54).  Staso contributed a leg on the winning 200 medley relay as well.
