CORTLAND, N.Y. - The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has selected the top women's swimmer and diver for the week. The winners were selected from top nominations made by conference members.
Cortland's Jacqueline Lang has been named Diver of the Week for the second consecutive week. The senior from Middletown scored a 200.62 from the 3-meter and a 190.05 from the 1-meter to pick up victories in each event as Cortland won a dual-meet against New Paltz.
Jaimie Kaefer picked up victories in three events and led New Paltz to a win over Ramapo College. Her wins included the 200 freestyle (2:02.86), 200 IM (2:16.95), and a leg of the first-place 200 free relay (1:41.06). Kaefer also placed second in the 200 backstroke with a time of 2:12.50.
