CORTLAND, N.Y. - The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has selected this weeks Women's Swimming and Diving Athletes of the Week. The Swimmer of the Week is New Paltz senior Katie Donlevy (Bayside, N.Y. / The Mary Louis Academy) and the Diver of the Week is Geneseo junior Samantha Reichman (Cornwall-on-Hudson, N.Y. / Cornwall Central).
Donlevy, led New Paltz during the weekend with three first-place finishes and one second-place finsish at the Hartwick Double Duel Meet. Individually she placed first in the 200 yard freestyle (3:03.47) and the 100 yard butterfly (1:01.89), and she placed second in the 50 yard freestyle (25.91). She also swam a strong leg in the 200 yard medley (1:54.52) helping the Hawks to a first place finish.
Reichman, helped Geneseo to a dual meet vicotory over NCAA Division I Canisius. She placed first in the one-meter dive with a six-dive score of 245.25 and she took second in the three-meter dive with a score of 247.50.
