CORTLAND, N.Y. – The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) selects Cortland sophomore Marissa Kordal (Eden, N.Y.) as the Women's Swimmer of the Week and her teammate Taylor Williams (Middletown, N.Y.) as the Women's Diver of the Week.
Cortland had a dual-meet against Fredonia winning with the score of 184-84. Sophomore swimmer Kordal placed first in the 200-yard freestyle (2:00.98) and the 500-yard freestyle (5:28.58). She also finished first in a 400-yard individual medley exhibition entry (4:54.28).
Williams placed first in both of her events with a score of 239.80 points on the 1-meter board and 225.40 points on the 3-meter board. Her two wins helped Cortland to win over Fredonia.
