CORTLAND, N.Y. - This week's PrestoSports Athletes of the Week for Women's Swimming and Diving go to Geneseo teammates Lauren Sposili (Clifton Park, N.Y.) and Samantha Reichman (Cornwall-on-Hudson, N.Y.).
Sposili helped lift the Knights to a dual meet victory over conference rival Cortland, 178-105, on Friday night. She finished first in the 500 free, posting the fastest time in the SUNYAC so far this season (5:23.49), first in the 100 breast with the conference's fastest mark of the year and a Geneseo pool record (1:07.65), and added a leg in the Knights' first-place 200 medley relay which finished in 1:51.32.
Reichman placed first in the three-meter dive with a score of 295.55 as the Knights defeated Cortland, 178-105.
