SUNYAC Selects PrestoSports Women's Swimming and Diving Athletes of the Week

CORTLAND, N.Y. - The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) had named Deidra Osula (Fredonia, N.Y.) from Geneeseo and Taylor Williams (Slate Hill, N.Y.) from Cortland as the PrestoSports Women's Swimmer and Diver of the Week respectively.

Osula placed first in three events as the Knights defeated host Rochester on Friday night. Osula placed first in the 200 free with a time of 2:02.34 and added a first-place finish in the 100 fly with a time of 59.80. She anchored the Knights' 200 free relay team that placed first with a finishing time of 1:39.49,

Williams posted the top scores on both boards during Cortland's dual-meet win vs. Division II Le Moyne Saturday. She scored 282.75 points on the 1-meter board and 282.15 points on the 3-meter board. The following day she placed fourth of 25 on the 3-meter board (460.75 points) and fifth of 28 on the 1-meter board (437.15 points) at the Ithaca College Dick Comanzo Diving Invitational. All four of Williams' performances met NCAA regional qualifying standards.
