CORTLAND, N.Y. This week's State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Women's Swimming and Diving Senior Spotlight is on Cortland's Marissa Kordal.
Kordal is a three-time All-SUNYAC honoree. Last season she placed fifth in the 200 IM (personal-best 2:11.98) and the 400 IM (personal-best 4:43.54) and finished seventh in the 1,650 free (personal-best 18:17.52) at the SUNYAC championships. Kordal was a member of the second-place 200 free, 400 free and 800 free (school-record 7:49.11) relay teams at the conference meet. She was also a member of the third-place 800 free relay team that set a school record (7:50.26) during the 2017-18 season.
