MacDougall and Buczkowski honored with weekly awards in women's indoor track and field

CORTLAND, N.Y. - The State University of New York Athletic Conference has picked its Women's Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week for the week ending December 10.

Geneseo junior Erin MacDougall (Kings Park, N.Y.) has been named the Track Athlete of the Week as she took first in the 60-meter hurdles at the Houghton Invitational on Friday, crossing with a time of 9.13 in the finals. She also posted a 9.11 preliminary finish, just .05 seconds slower than her personal best from last season (9.06). Her finish currently ranks sixth in NCAA Division III.

Cortland senior Harley Buczkowski (Holland Patent, N.Y.) was selected as the Field Athlete of the Week after winning the weight throw in a dual meet at Ithaca College. Her distance of 15.56 meters (51' 0.75") is a personal best and ranks 13th nationally in Division III. She also finished fourth in the shot put at 10.90 meters (35' 9.25").
