Flower and Crockett Recognized with SUNYAC Weekly Honors

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Brockport's Kerry Flower and Sarah Crockett have been named the SUNYAC Women's Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week.

Flower ran a regional qualifying time of 18:07.75 in the 5000-meter race at the Utica Winter Opener. She took first place to score 10 of Brockport's 22 points in the event.

The Brockport throwers dominated, scoring 34 total points across the weight throw and shot put events. Crockett led the charge with first place in both throwing competitions. She threw a 12.85 in the shot put and a 15.57 in the weight throw. The women's team took second place at the Utica Winter Opener with 100 points.
