Geneseo sweeps first women's outdoor T&F weekly awards of the season

CORTLAND, N.Y - The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) announces this week's Women's Outdoor Track and Field Field Athlete of the Week, and Track Athlete of the Week. Geneseo swept the board this week as  Erin MacDougall was named Track Athlete of the Week and Camille Wutz Field Athlete of the Week.  

MacDougall had a strong day at the Geneseo Invitational, Saturday. She set a school record in finishing second in the 200 (25.62) with a time that is currently tied for 19th in the nation. She also posted the nation's sixth-fastest time in the 100 hurdles (14.62) and added a leg to the winning 4x400 relay (4:18.35).  

Wutz swept the long jump (5.58m/18' 3.75") and the triple jump (11.26m/36' 11.5") while finishing second in the 100 (12.32) at the Geneseo Invitational on Saturday. Her Long jump is currently tied for ninth in Division III this season while her triple jump is the 21st-best mark. Her 100 time is also tied for 12th.
