CORTLAND, NY - Potsdam's Kelsey Tompkins has been chosen as this week's State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Volleyball Athlete of the Week.
Tompkins helped the Bears to a 2-1 weekend at the Cardinal Classic in Plattsburgh. In a 3-0 win over Sage, Tompkins had 14 kills, as well as 17 kills in a 3-2 win against Plymouth State and 10 kills in a 3-2 loss to undefeated Wheaton. She totaled 41 kills, a .452 hitting percentage and 11 blocks on the weekend. She was named to the all-tournament team for her standout performance.
