CORTLAND, N.Y. - The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has selected New Paltz's Emily Cavanagh as this week's Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Week.

Cavanagh was the first to cross the finish line for the Hawks as the team placed fifth out of 40 teams at the UMASS Dartmouth Invitational. Cavanagh recorded a time of 18:57 on the 5-kilometer course.
