CORTLAND, N.Y.- The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has selected Elisa Ramirez as the Cross Country female Athlete of the Week. 

Ramirez, a Nesconset native, had an excellent showing at Williams College's Purple Valley Classic.  The junior finished in sixth place, out of a 286 runner field, to lead the Knights to a third-place team finish at the invitational.  

Her time of 22:41.1 led the Knights past seven nationally-ranked teams out of twenty-six total schools at the event.
