CORTLAND, N.Y. - The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has named Cassandra Williams, a sophomore from New Paltz, the Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week.
Williams won her second straight race Saturday, placing first overall at the Bill Fritz Invitational at Rowan University. She finished the 6k course in a time of 23:14.13 to help the Hawks to a fourth place team finish out of 17 schools.
