CORTLAND, N.Y. - The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has named Elise Ramirez, a senior from Geneseo, the Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week.
Ramirez finished first out of 232 runners to lead Geneseo to first place out of 19 teams at the 38th-Annual Mike Woods Invitational, Saturday, at Letchworth State Park. She covered the 6k course in a time of 21:38.0 which was 30 seconds better than the rest of the field as the Knights placed seven runners in the top-nine.
