CORTLAND, N.Y. - This week's State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Women's Cross Country Senior Spotlight is on Potsdam's Alice Menis.
Menis ran in 16 of the Bears 19 meets in her three seasons on the cross country team. She was also a member of Potsdam's track and field program for two seasons. Menis posted personal bests last fall at the Plattsburgh Invitational 5K with a time of 22:56 and the SUNY Poly Wildcat Classic 6K with a time of 26:54.1. Menis is a dual major in creative writing and environmental studies (wilderness education minor) and was honored on the Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll the last three years.
