Ramirez finished fifth out of 345 runners to lead Geneseo to second place at the Inter-Regional Border Battle, hosted by Rowan, on Saturday. She covered the six-kilometer course in 21:25.4 to finish less than 20 seconds behind the top finisher. Entering the meet ranked third nationally, Geneseo finished runner-up to top-ranked Johns Hopkins, while defeating seven other nationally-ranked squads in the 39-team field.
