SUNYAC recognizes Elite 20 for winter sports

SUNYAC recognizes Elite 20 for winter sports

CORTLAND, N.Y. - In January of 2017, the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) unveiled the Elite 20 Award to honor the student-athlete with the highest cumulative grade point average competing at the finals site of each of its 20 championships.

The SUNYAC Elite 20, an award modeled after the NCAA ELITE 90 program, recognizes the true essence of the student-athlete by honoring the individual who has reached the pinnacle of competition at the conference championship level in his or her sport, while also achieving the highest academic standard among his or her peers.

The SUNYAC would like to recognize those winter student-athletes that have been selected as the recipients in their respective sport. Congratulations to the 2016 winter Elite 20 winners.
