CORTLAND, N.Y. - The first-ever State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) retreat will take place April 1-2 at the Holiday Inn Conference Center in Liverpool, NY. 

Representatives from each conference institution will be participating in a two-day retreat to network with fellow student-athletes. The students will have the opportunity to share best practices and connct with each other through team buliding activities on Friday.

The focus Saturday will be on a special One Love program that will work with the student-athletes to raise awareness about the warning signs of abuse and activate communities to work to change the statistics around relationship violence. The goal is for the student-athletes to bring this information back to their campuses to begin working for change within their communities and campuses.
