FREDONIA, N.Y. - Cortland's swimming and diving dual meet at Fredonia was shortened and eventually halted due to technical and other issues at Fredonia's natatorium.

Only a handful of events - medley relays, the 1,000-yard freestyle and one diving round - were conducted before the meet was called. No swimming results are available from the meet, and no team scoring was kept as a result.

One available highlight for the Red Dragons was freshman Ashley Zachgo (Clifton Park/Shenendehowa) posting a career-best 11-dive score of 435.40 points on the 1-meter board. The score is an NCAA regional qualifier, although Zachgo had already met the standard the required two times earlier in the season.

With the regular season completed, Cortland will next compete at the SUNYAC Championships Feb. 19-22 at Erie Community College in Buffalo.
